Ya’ll know I had been talking (and so has everyone else) about Mariah Carey’s Memoir for a while now. It’s truly a gift, heaven sentthat it’s come out the time I need it the most. Honest to God it’s almost surreal. Couldn’t have come out a better time. Found so much comfort and reliability in Carey’s writing (in a time of doubt and uncertainty) as a growing budding artist myself. Already half way done, can’t wait to share with ya’ll all the gems I learned about.
Anyhow, must I say, dahling.. so glad to get my hands on this. cop the drop, neeoow!
You guys, I’m on my knees… Mariah Carey just released a statement on the release of her new memoir, which we expect to land on shelves later this year. It’s been a long time coming, and for me just the gift I was waiting for.
It’s amazing how your dreams and aspiration manifest into reality if you continue to keep hope and faith in the universe and God. As an aspiring singer, I was more than elastic to read the good news as I would love to hear about her early struggles into stardom and how she found her voice as an artist and later, celebrity.
I never wanted to do music for the fame and fortune, but there are real genuine artists out there who, by miracle & God’s blessing, became a world renowned celebrity and one of those people happened to be, Mariah Carey. Irreplaceable. and a living legend.
For all lambilys, it’s time we get the memoir we’ve been to read about. Can read more about the news here. Stay tuned for its release.
I think it might be safe to say Mariah is living legend.Though 2020 Mariah may not sound like 90’s Mariah Carey, no one could deny her international/ commercial success as a one of the greatest vocalists who has made a name for herself in an industry that many artists like to call cold and dark. While her gift (of many including songwriting) has perked the ears of many, softened the hearts of others, and opened the gates of heaven, her unique ambition is truly what set her apart. Carey had a vision that forever changed the game of the industry, setting the bar high for those who truly cared for and wanted to create music. And as someone who absolutely loves music and deeply idolizes her, I could hear it clearly in her artistry & music. You guys know, as an aspiring singer and musician, she will forever be a hero, not only to many others out there, but also for myself. She has yet to receive the respect she has worked for and rightfully deserves. Only fivegrammy’s in span of 30 years of her career? Ha, her son, Moroccan, said it best, “The Grammy’s are bo-ing”.
