So blessed and grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of an amazing choir of beautiful and talented singers– especially during a time when music can be the most healing and comforting. It’s been a little over a month now and it’s been so fun. While I will not be disclosing the name of the college I am taking it at, it is a college located in Redondo Beach, California. Our choir name is Voce Angelicus (singers of Los Angeles). The theme of this course is Gospel, which I am so super excited about. I’ve already learned so much in a short period of time and absolutely adore my instructor, who happens to be a conductor for a choir of talented vocalists, some who have been involved with voice shows like American Idol, America’s Got Talent, etc.. The choir has also had the opportunity to perform at venues such as the Carnegie Hall. While the course originally takes place at a campus, unfortunately, with covid we have been attending through Zoom. And while it’s not the easiest, it has been so fun and encouraging. As an aspiring singer, it only inspires me to become the best singer I can be. I feel so honored to be blessed their guidance and to participate in such an amazing community! God is good! Can’t wait to share what I have learned with you guys in future posts.. so stay tuned!
Best,
Lorraine
