New year, new plans. As I always say, being a part of Music Moves In Me has been a blessing thus far. This year I have the chance to be teaching additional classes– this time with toddlers age 2-3. Since it is a younger class, it will take some adjustments before I feel solid and ready to teach. But nonetheless am so thankful that I am in a position to share the gift of music to younger generations. Though the job itself is not much pay, the influence I have for the children to discover their own love for rhythm and sound is priceless. People wonder why I have such commitment to a job that is not financially rewarding, but I don’t do it for the money. It’s about the music, community, and children and that’s all I need to know that what I am doing is worthwhile. Super excited to have ya’ll with me in this journey, will definitely be keeping you posted as more exciting stuff arise.

Congratulations, My Friend!! So happy for you getting to teach music to youngsters!! You have been given a tremendous gift – to change their lives in such a positive way. I would highly recommend the book “How to play the piano: despite years of lessons” This is an amazing book that teaches anyone how to learn how to play the piano by ear and the very simple building blocks to learning how to play music. Please, Please invest in this book. It is a treasure trove!!

Hi chuck! I’m so sorry I missed your message. Thank you so much for your kind words, I will definitely be checking out the book you suggested. Look forward to reading it! I just finished a book about music and spirituality that I hope you might like if you hadn’t read it yet. It is called “A Music Lesson: A Spiritual Search for Growth through Music”. Amazing book and ignited a fire in me I had for music, hope you like it as much as I do x Lo
