Spent some time in the studio in downtown LA the other day and it was definitely new for me. The engineer I worked with was amazing and we came up with some great stuff.
Really had me thinking about who I am an artist and what I envision my work to be. I’ve attached a rough clip of what we recorded in the studio. Mind you super rough, I was tough on myself in spite of his encouragement.. Guess that’s the catch 22 of being an artist. Anyhow, watching the behind the scenes music productions taught me a couple things of how beats are created through high hats, low hats, adlibs, etc. It was cool getting to work with him, and helped give me some perspective of who I am and the music I identify as an artist. Look forward to more sessions in the future.
