#NewMusicMondays on Mariah Carey’s Heartbreaker

As a little girl, I remember I enjoyed making rhymes and playing with words.
I wrote my first poem in third grade and it caught the attention of my teacher. She liked it and had me recite it to the class. In high school and college, I’d receive compliments from my teachers/ professors, and wasn’t until college that I decided to hone in on my writing skills. I didn’t realize how much the arts played such a big roll in my life (I would keep a number of art/writing journals and still do). Anyhow, one night after work, I decided to get back into it and wrote a little something. Went out of my comfort zone for this one.

“makes me wanna date her”
