Online Submission For Vocal Competition: 2019 StarQuest Taste Of Soul Festival

Ahh, I am so excited to announce that I submitted my audition video for the 2019 StarQuest: Taste of Soul Festival, which they just posted on their site. The festival will take place sometime in October, which I look forward to attending. As you may or may not know, I decided to stay in Los Angeles to get more involved with the great music scene here. As a little girl, I’ve always dreamt of becoming a professional singer and now that I am older, I have realized nothing else is my truest passion. I recall friends and family asking my 13 year-old self what I wanted to be when I was older and I knew I wanted to become a singer. But my insecurities, lack of faith/self-confidence, and judgment of others held me back. Today, I am currently trying to overcome my fears and leave all the negative energy built over the years behind and even though it is hard.. I know it will be worthwhile. I feel the most alive when I am singing, and I know that there is soo much more in my journey to learn and explore as an aspiring singer. And for me, as an artist, I think that is the most exciting part. I’ve learned this is only the beginning. If you have a chance, I ask if you can please check out my audition video.
