Louis Daniel Armstrong (August 4, 1901 – July 6, 1971), nicknamed Satchmo, Satch, and Pops, was an American trumpeter, composer, vocalist and occasional actor who was one of the most influential figures in jazz. His career spanned five decades, from the 1920s to the 1960s, and different eras in the history of jazz.
Some of his most famous songs:
♫ if i walk away
will the phrases play
or will they all become one
under the sun
and when the pleasure is done ♫
♫ I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more than I’ll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world ♫
🙂 I didn’t know that it was the late Louis Armstrong’s birthday.
