This song puts me in a different space, the beat, Nao’s vocals, the message, everything.
Just recently discovered her, and I love her style as an artist. It definitely strikes me as Neo-soul/ Funk, I would love to create something similar to her style of music. I would say this style of song would resonate more to the younger generations, but also deviates from the typical pop songs we hear on the radio today. It’s new and refreshing.
Definitely one to keep in the playlist when cruising down PCH in the middle of night, or simply when you’re chillin the room lookin’ for some jams to unwind to.
