A legendary artist and performer who came from humbling beginnings.
Before his rise to stardom, Presley (born January 8, 1935) was a truck driver from Tupelo, Mississippi. He was a small town boy destined for huge success and fortune. Today marks his 83th birthday. While Presley has since passed, Presley remains a strong iconic figure of pop culture music and entertainment.
